  Some areas were closed, so made it hard to fit a large group in. Staff didn't mind us moving some tables though. Friendly service and tasty drinks and food

  This place reminds me of an older-style coffee shop. The lighting is quite subdued and - on the face of it - it's small and cosy. There is, however, much more seating downstairs. Most of the staff are very friendly, even when I storm in just as they've opened (I'm a morning person) but it depends upon who is on duty. I've seen three staff with one serving a longish queue and the other two chatting and I've been left standing whilst the shelves were stocked with muffins however, I've been served by some really nice people too. The coffee and choice of snacks are up to Costa's high standard. This is now my goto place for my morning shot whilst hoping that the customer service improves. Update: 5 May 2017 - This place now has a new manager who is very friendly and asks for feedback. Betterer and betterer!
